Attending the lecture where Omer Arbel spoke, was quite interesting. He discussed many of his projects, but focused on the concept of form. He tries to develop systems that find their form on their own.
His first project he discussed, project 19, was an exploration of sand casting.
His second project, project 28, was made from glass blowing. His main goal with this project was answering the question: what if we pull air out of the glass? These are the steps for creating a glass blown piece:
a) Blowing a bubble
b) Heat applied to glass
c) Different colour of glass into hole
d) Pulling the air out
Each piece takes its own form and will be unique because of the nature of this process.

The third project, project 41:1 was a competition entry and was an interior application. Foam was sprayed onto the hay and as a result different forms were taken. This was quite a unique, yet intriguing project.
The fourth project he discussed, project 57.0 focused on lighting and how glass behaves when it's heated or cooled. This project again, takes an unpredictable form as the glass behaves in its own way.
The fifth project, project 0 was an incomplete project.
